Most units have a response to sniper contact. Few have a plan. Fewer still have a repeatable, pressure-tested planning process that holds up when the situation is complex, the timeline is short, and the options are limited. The gap between reaction and execution is where missions fail and personnel die.
The CORE Module is a four-day, scenario-driven planning course that builds a structured counter-sniper planning capability at the team and section level. Participants work through a progressive series of increasingly complex operational scenarios in two-person planning cells, developing and stress-testing their planning process under time pressure and instructor challenge.
This is not a shooting course. There is no range time. The work is cognitive, and it is deliberate.
Military personnel responsible for counter-sniper planning and employment decisions. Participants should have an existing foundation in sniper operations, either as practitioners or as planners with direct experience working with sniper elements. This course is not appropriate for personnel without that baseline.
Selection is at the discretion of the sending unit or agency.
A validated, immediately applicable planning framework for counter-sniper operations. Tested under scenario pressure across four days, refined through structured debrief, and ready to take back to the unit. Not a concept. A tool.
