Urban Environment Sniper Training (UEST)

Course Description

This course is designed for trained snipers of various skill levels.  Attendees will train the necessary tactics, techniques, and procedures used to deliver precision fire from concealed positions within an urban environment.  Training will consist of classroom instruction (minimal), zero and true verification, data gathering at various ranges, multiple close range target engagements, stress shoot events, live fire stalks, enemy sniper point of origin scenario, team competitions, and free shooting time to review any subject covered in the course.

Course Objectives

• Conduct urban live fire stalks while remaining undetected
  
• Construct sniper hide-sites in an urban environment
  
• Identify enemy sniper point of origin within an urban environment
  
• Engage multiple close range targets
  
• Engage multiple targets using alternate shooting positions
  
• Complete the Target Acquisition Drill (TAD) with a score of 80 or better
  
• Demonstrate urban sniper techniques and procedures during team shooting competitions
