Sniper Training (ERST)

Course Description

This course is designed for trained snipers of various skill levels.  Attendees will train the necessary tactics, techniques, and procedures used to engage targets from 1km to 2km+ with large caliber sniper weapon systems. Training will consist of classroom instruction (minimal), zero and true verification, data gathering at various ranges, team competitions, and free shooting time to review any subject covered in the course.

Course Objectives

• Engage multiple targets at extended ranges using a large caliber sniper weapon system
  
• Engage multiple targets using alternate shooting positions
  
• Complete the Target Acquisition Drill (TAD) with a score of 15 or better
  
• Demonstrate long range target engagement techniques and procedures during team shooting competitions
